The seating ball specifications
A balance ball for kids and adults
Stays in place
The weighted ball seat reduces fidgeting and increases concentration with an original weighted feature that prevents the ball from rolling, keeping it in place when not in use.
Increases your focus
This alternative seating option for classrooms, offices, and home use helps to keep the mind engaged as the constant ball movement increases blood flow to the brain.
Improves your posture
Using a weighted ball as a flexible chair helps to build core strength and a healthy posture. The ideal ball size for active seating allows for a 90-degree angle at the knees and thighs, so they are parallel to the floor while sitting.
Relieves stress
Active seating improves performance by providing an outlet for excess energy and helps to alleviate anxiety, stress, and boredom.
A safe and high-quality ball
The weighted ball seat is lab tested and made with heavy-duty PVC, an anti-burst material. It also includes a foot pump, 2 stoppers, measuring tape, and a stopper remover for user convenience. Latex-free. The 25.6” ball suits people 5’7” and taller.
About Bouncyband LLC
The original Bouncyband® was created in 2014 by Scott Ertl, a school counselor in North Carolina to help students have a way to move while seated in class so they wouldn’t have to sit uncomfortably at their desks for 5-6 hours a day. He wanted to help them be able to stretch their legs, bounce and give their feet a resting place instead of having them dangle all day from their chair.
Today we design unique products that use movements to stimulate the brain and boost mental performance. Our products are developed to capture the proven benefits of the Yerkes-Dodson Law, which states that physical stimulation can improve and help achieve optimum mental performance when one is neither over-stimulated nor under-stimulated.
The success of Bouncybands inspired the development of our unique line of products for school, work and home that utilize subtle movements and pent up energy to motivate the mind and fuel concentration. They are fun to use and relieve stress resulting in a more effective work environment. These fidget tools stimulate the brain increasing focus, enhancing creativity and improving memory by engaging more senses in experiences.

This is exactly what I ordered. As a 220 lb man using at a desk, it in't big enough. But it is great. So if you are smaller, I would recommend. there are larger balls for larger people (which I need). But i use this anyway and at the size it is intended, it stays filled (if I over fill it, it shrinks, but it stays at the expected size). Seems very durable between me using is (even though it is a little small) and my kids using it every night for the last month.
I spent the first few months of the covid thing sitting in a regular desk chair at home and feeling pretty crappy while gaining weight at the same time. I decided I had to do something but being tied to my desk made it hard. I bought this ball about two weeks ago and OMG. I crank some music, sit on the ball and dance while working. I found that I am constantly moving around even when I do not think about it. I just might end up with actual abs by the end of this thing. My back feels really good too! Just be careful because my dogs tried to knock me off of it while I was on a conference call the other day. It was pretty funny...This ball is super sturdy and quite comfortable. The pump that came with it is... ummm... well, it works. I ended up using an air compressor. I was more interested in the ball anyway. It did not disappoint! I am 5'4" and bought the medium at first. It put me to low to type well on my keyboard. I got the large and it is perfect. I do not want to go back to the office because I cannot take my ball with me!!!
We bought this for our autistic son who loves to use balls for a seat. In the past he's rolled off and hurt himself. This ball stays in place and he loves. Bounces and laughs. Theatwrial is thick and blows up nicely. The pump wasn't great so we manually blew it up. Worth the price! My son loves it so much.
I purchased this for working from home during the pandemic and love it. It's comfortable to sit on all day. I love the weighted feature that keeps it in place at my desk. The materials is very thick, so hoping it will be very durable. I've found it's way more comfortable than my office chair I was using. I find my posture is better when sitting on the ball vs. the chair where I would slouch a lot. Great addition to my new home office.
My order came on time and as described. COVID protocols have me working from home. My dining room chairs are not designed ergonomically or to be sat in 10 hours a day. After a month my back and hips were jacked up and painful. I ordered my ball hoping for some relief. I’m still getting used to it but it is definitely helping my hips and back. There is a learning curve for your body in that your core and for me my legs also are engaged continuously at a low level. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
Love this for my home office. I had another a few years ago and missed the comfort. My husband bought me an expensive ball chair but it is not comfortable and also noisy (plastic wheels on the chair base. This is so much better. I have a sit stand desk so I can be active while working. So when I am sitting I love the benefits this ball provides and it doesn’t roll away! Chasing my “chair” is not good when you are on a business call. I would definitely recommend.
Arrived quickly. Inflated easily with the provided foot pump. I have never used a yoga ball seat, so did not know what to expect. It takes some getting used to, as the idea is to improve your posture and strengthen the low back muscles. I like the weighted bottom, as it doesn't fly off when you get up. I tend to not sit as long, because I can't slouch as I might on a "regular" chair, but that's not a bad thing. I've only used it for a bit over a week, and did not expect a miracle cessation of all my low back and associated leg aches and pains, but I feel like I've already improved a little. And, it's fun to bounce to good music!
We use these generally for remote learning. My 11 & 14 year old love having these at their desks instead of regular chairs. They both usually have a hard time focusing. These balls give them the opportunity to let off energy while they work!
